Age Relaxation:- Candidates upper age limit should be 62 years for Port Manager and Berthing Master post, upper age limit should be 58 years for Radio Operators post. Age limits are as on 01-01-2013.
Edu Qualifi: Candidates should possess COC of Master Mariner (FG/ NCV) issued by D.G. Shipping, Mumbai or equivalent recognized by the Indian Government (DG Shipping) for Port Manager, Berthing Master post, 12th standard pass and holding GMDSS certificate or inland RTG certificate issued by Ministry of Communications, Govt of India and with Good Vision, Physically Fit, with out any hearing aids and must completed the four mandatory STCW courses for Radio Operators post.
Selection Mode:Candidates will be selected based on the performance in interview.
How to apply: Eligible candidates may attend for walk in interview with the application form given in the notification along with original certificates and one set of photocopy of the certificates at the Shipping Corporation of India Ltd, 245 Madame Cama Road, Nariman Point, Mumbai – 400021 on 04-03-2013 at 11:00 to 16:00 hrs.
