Candidate having experience in using a variety of low-level tools, including scripts and other tools devised by the tester, as well as various open-source tools to perform these tests, detailed and extensive knowledge of vulnerabilities and the mechanisms to exploit them at all levels of the software stack, manual penetration testing/ethical hacking and application security vulnerability testing. The applications to be tested are web-based including mobile web applications and the tester is expected to have an excellent understanding of the structure of web applications in a variety of technologies including Java and .Net.
